Welcome to Metropolitan!

VISIT

It can be daunting sometimes trying to fit in or understand the culture of a new organization.  We’ve compiled this list of frequently asked questions based on queries we’ve received from visitors and new members over the years.  If necessary, answers have been modified to reflect the fact that we are currently worshipping virtually.

If your question isn’t answered here, complete a connect card, so we can respond to your directly.

When are your services?

We are currently worshipping virtually.  Visit our worship schedule for information how to join our worship services.

Saturday

  • 9:45 a.m. -> Adult Bible study class
  • 10:30 a.m. -> Youth Small Groups (Bible study classes for all ages)
  • 11:45 a.m. -> Worship Experience

Wednesday

  • 7:30 p.m. -> Mid-week prayer and fellowship (classes for all ages)

Do you have programs for children and teens?

We certainly do!  There are age-appropriate Bible study classes for children on Saturday mornings. We also have basketball teams, Adventurer and Pathfinder clubs (similar to Boy and Girl Scouts), children’s and youth choirs, a mentoring group for teenaged girls (Sister-to-Sister), La Cour Royale (an exciting life skills and scholarship program for high school seniors) and more.

Is there someone who can pray for me?

Of course!

Fill out our prayer request form and we will get in touch with you.

On Saturdays between 11:45 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., you can pray with a member of our prayer team by calling 1-844-PRAYER-2

(1-844-772-9372)

I want to take Bible studies. How can I do that?

We hold a special Bible study class for new believers – those who are just getting to know Jesus – on Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m.  While we are worshipping virtually, you may fill out our bible study request form.  When we return to church, just ask one of the ushers to point you to the New Believers class.  We also have a very interactive Bible study program on Wednesday evenings.

How can I return my tithe and offerings or donate to a special project?

You can do that right here on our website.  If you’d prefer, you may also mail a check or money order to the church office.  Please be sure to state what your donation is for so that your funds are placed in the correct account.

How can I find out what events are taking place at Metro?

Sign up to receive our weekly e-newsletter.  It’s the easiest way to stay connected.  You can also visit our online calendar.

How can I request to have a wedding ceremony or funeral service at Metro?

Contact the church office and speak with the church secretary or complete our event reservation form and someone from our event team will follow up with you.

Can I have my baby dedication at Metro even if I'm not a member?

Certainly!  Members and non-members are encouraged to have their children dedicated.  Baby dedications are held on the first Saturday of the month.  Please contact the church office to sign up or fill out the request form.  Our pastors will hold a short “getting-to-know-you” meeting with you a few days before the dedication.
