17 Jul Help create Moments at Metro!
We’re very thankful to those members who have been helping us create our weekly announcements video – Moments at Metro – week after week. We want to open up the opportunity to our church family at large.
There are two ways you can help us. The easiest is to be a reader. On Thursday evening, we will email you the script with the week’s announcements. You’ll record yourself reading that — just audio, no video needed — and send it back to us by Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. You don’t have to read it perfectly all the way through — if you make a mistake, we just ask you to take a breath and read that announcement over again. Our editors will clean up the audio for you. If this sounds interesting to you, email us at email@example.com and let us know.
The second part of creating Moments at Metro involves creating the video file. You take the audio file that is created above and add it to a video file that has images or other smaller videos that correspond to each announcement. This will require you to use a video editing tool like iMovie or Video Editor (these are free on iOS and Windows operating systems). If you have access to these tools but aren’t sure you know how to use them, we can teach you, if you’re committed to learning and helping us. If you know how to use more “advanced” tools like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro, we need you to sign up right away! The process to sign up is the same – send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know.
