Ever listened to a sermon where you'd already made up yoru mind on its contents, but the sermon enlightened you? Or where you felt that the preacher read your mind, knew what your questions or objections would be and gently answered them? Our sermon on Stewardship Day (Feb. 3) - "The Little Lady" - did just that.
Seth Bardu, Treasurer of the Columbia Union of Seventh-day Adventists, in his unique and factual way, taught us of the spirit of the widow's mite sacrificial giving. He taught of the many blessings and benefits of giving and worshiping God. He taught of the lessons for each church member including church leadership.
Visit our sermons page and listen to Mr. Bardu share God's message as he chronicles the last week of Christ's life, emphasizing the significance of "The Little Lady's" sincere spirit of faithful giving that memorable day. She gave her all that Tuesday; Christ gave all that he had that Friday.
