On Sunday, January 14, 2007, the Metropolitan Men's and Women's Ministries combined their monthly meeting and began 2007 with a soul-reviving prayer breakfast!  The gathering included representation from all age groups, from our very young to our "Chillum Darlings" as they are fondly called.  The featured speakers were Pastor Inskip Allsop, Elder Heather-Dawn Small, and Pastor David Defoe.  One of our soloists was Jasmine Brann, who lifted our hearts heavenward.

While the children were captivated by Veggie Tales, the adults were enraptured by prayer, testimonies, and truly inspired devotionals.

Let us not forget the other highlight of the morning - the wonderful breakfast, coordinated by Connie Thompson and Donna Joseph.

Pastor Bernard said "It was truly an awesome and well-supported event."

We certainly look forward to many combined events from the two ministries!

The next meetings of the Men's and Women's Ministries will take place on Sunday, February 11 at 7:30 a.m.  We hope to see many more of you join us.
