Welcome to the Metropolitan Activity Center, the most recent addition to the well-maintained Metropolitan campus. The facility houses a 220-seat banquet hall, a commercial kitchen, four conference rooms, a full-court gymnasium with stage, and more.

The Metropolitan Activity Center boasts an elegantly designed Banquet Hall, housed on the lower level of the facility. This dining facility is the pearl of Hyattsville with a seating capacity of 225. It brags exceptional architectural and interior design elements, and exquisite features such as a grand foyer entrance, crystal chandeliers, recessed tray ceiling lighting, hand sewn drapery, rich carpeting, and the finest in superb furnishings.
Exceptional menu options, artistic presentations, innovative themes, and sophisticated services are all part of the Banquet Hall experience. There are two conference rooms that seats about 80 individuals in each. These conference rooms can be further divided to host a smaller event. The rooms are also perfect for break out sessions for your meeting or training session.
The Activity Center is equipped with a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen—a caterer’s dream. From this facility, your guests will enjoy delicious menus prepared by one of our preferred caterers or by a licensed and insured caterer of your choosing.
