Week 2 Challenge: As a family, learn to read food labels by studying items in your kitchen. Arrange your schedule and plan to shop together for groceries once a month and be sure to read food labels. Allow the kids to make the shopping list of make suggestions about what to buy. Guide them to select healthy options. Explain why one item instead of another.
Exercise: Begin planning exercise for the week for each family member. Remember to use your pedometer daily and aim for 10,000 steps. Keep a record of your daily steps so Andrea Thomas can record them into the General Conference Step for Life site.
