It's time for our annual youth week of prayer. This year's theme is Re:Vision and features guest speaker Pierre Quinn - senior pastor of the Breath of Life Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ft. Washington, MD. Some of the most captivating stories in the Bible are when God takes unsuspecting people to do unexpected things. Many of these people ran away from what God was calling them to do, or thought that God couldn't use them. What God saw and what they believed were two different things. For them to walk in their calling, they had to be willing to reimagine what was possible with God's power. The idea of Re:Vision is the willingness to look at your life and follow God's calling to dream, imagine, and plan again so that you can be what He has designed you to be.
The series kicks off on August 5. Pastor Quinn will speak for our 9:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. services. Then the amazing DMV Youth Choir will hold their third annual gospel concert that evening at 6:30 p.m. (get your tickets today). The meetings will continue on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights that week at 7:00 p.m.

They're baaaaack! The phenomenal, dynamic DMV Youth Gospel Choir is pleased to announce their third annual summer concert: August 5 at 6:30 p.m. Their director is still the amazing Sherice Tomlin; she and the choir have worked hard to prepare another fantastic evening of music for you. This year's program features guest artist Jamel Strong, and guest conductor Delany McCarty. The concert will also feature a bone marrow drive - Director Tomlin's son was recently diagnosed with a form of leukemia and she and the choir are working to raise awareness about this deadly disease. Please plan to participate!
If you know a young person who loves music, bring him or her to this concert!
