We are also distributing food to members and the community every other Wednesday.  You can sign up to receive text message and email updates from us at metrosda.org/optin.

God's Ladies - Restored!

It's time for our annual women's empowerment conference.  We celebrate our women on March 20 and 21.  Pastor Marleena Debrough is our guest speaker for the weekend.  On Friday evening, we start at 6:30 p.m.with a light supper, powerful prayer session and a message from Pastor Debrough.  On Saturday after Pastor Debrough preaches for both services, we'll have lunch for our women, then a panel discussion and a special presentation on women's mental health by Dr. Sylvette LaTouche-Howard.

It promises to be an informative, engaging weekend.  We hope you can join us!  Keep reading to see the entire weekend schedule.

We are pleased to invite you to iWitness 2020 - Saturday, March 14.  This all day conference is for anyone who wants to supercharge their witness for Christ.  It is designed to teach strategies and techniques for day to day lifestyle evangelism and help believers become more confident in sharing their witness for Christ.  "As I witness, I become an eyewitness to the saving power of God!" 

This will be a dynamic and insightful learning opportunity to build your faith and become bold in your witness for Christ!  Keep reading to check out the day's schedule.

red rectangle Our health professionals are starting a virtual support group.  This six-week program will focus on allowing individuals to feel supported, emotionally and spiritually. Although it is not therapy, it can still be therapeutic.  Members will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.  Visit metrosda.org/virtualsupportgroup to sign up.

Prayer challenge:  Pray three times a day for seven days, starting on April 5.  Pray for (1) the latter rain (2) spiritual understanding (3) identification of opportunities the Spirt presents for us to be a blessing to others.  Reading for this week:  Revelation 14, Matthew 24 and Romans 13:11-14.
