After the 11:45 a.m. service, we'll have lunch for everyone, so that we can all participate in the launch of the Metropolitan Disability Ministry. We have a special program planned that will benefit families who have a disabled member, and will teach families without disabled members how they can provide support. Childcare and refreshments will be provided during the launch. Please RSVP if you need childcare: 301-853-2224.
We invite you to participate in CHIP - a series of health-related programs that Metropolitan will be facilitating to improve the health of our church and our community. This 12-week course starts on Sunday, March 3. Register NOW for this program that will dramatically improve your well-being. Become one of thousands of CHIP participants who have taken control of their health and are living healthier lives.
What is CHIP?
CHIP (the Complete Health Improvement Program) is a lifestyle enrichment program designed to reduce disease risk factors through the adoption of better health habits and appropriate lifestyle modifications. The goal is to lower blood cholesterol, hypertension, and blood sugar levels and reduce excess weight. This is done by improving dietary choices, enhancing daily exercise, increasing support systems and decreasing stress, thus aiding in preventing and reversing disease.
