We're Launching Out on April 1

LaunchOut2017 1920

On Saturday, April 1st, Metropolitan will be launching two Saturday worship services! Our first service will run from 9:15am-10:30am and our second service will begin at 11:45am-1:35pm. As God blesses our congregation, we’re making room for the harvest of new members and believers that He’s bringing to our doors. We also want to provide more options to believers based off of their varying worship needs. Some worshippers are early risers and enjoy the opportunity to enter the house of the Lord early in the morning for worship. Other members are challenged by families and children and would benefit from a later service that allows them to get to church on time.  In total, we’re preparing to better meet the needs of our growing church family! In Step for Life - Let's Track Our Activity

Written by Andrea Thomas.

in step for lifeMetro - as part of our Super Fit Family Challenge, many of you have been tracking your daily steps and monitoring your exercise.  We are now asking our entire church family - whether you participated in the Super Fit Challenge or not - to participate in "Adventsts In Step for Life"!  This is a program sponsored by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists where churches across the country are recording their weekly steps and aerobic activity.

All you have to do is keep track of the number of steps you walk each week (get a pedometer) and also any aerobic activity (jogging, swimming, walking, gardening, etc.) that you participte in - you track the number of minutes you did each activity.  At the end of the week, complete our "Activity Tracker Form" and input your data.  Repeat!

We want to be one of the churches showing the most activity - so plan to join us!  If you have questions, contact any member of the Health Ministries department.
