Kisha Johnson knew she wanted to win something at AirBorn. She came reallly close on opening night - the giveaway went to the person whose birthday was closest to that date - July 28. "Kish" - as she's affectionately called by family and friends - stood up excitedly. Her birthday had been July 21. The presenter was about to give Kisha the prize, when the audience pointed out another guy she (the presenter) hadn't seen. Turned out his birthday was July 27 and he got the prize.

You know that feeling you get when you say you're going to do something and you actually do it? You know the feeling! Especially knowing how many other times you said you should, or you would, or you could, but in reality you didn't! Well if that's not your testimony it sure is mine!
I thank God for a successful day of ministry on Sabbath! If you didn't get to join the group who visited with our neighbors at Chillum Oaks and the fire department, or the group who braved the heat as we passed out cold water and reading materials to the folks we met in the Langley Park Shopping Plaza area...you definitely missed out on an encouraging and humbling experience.
Many of us have been coming to Prep School and being spiritually fed for the past year and growing more and more each day. Thankfully I've been learning that I don't necessarily need to be the preacher or even the teacher. I can simply be a doer, for others!
We've moved to the next phase of our AirBorn Flight Plan. Prior to this you should have completed the following tasks:
- identified the people you’d like to pray for over the next three months
- identified your prayer partners
- decided on a meeting place and time for your Prayer Cell (your weekly meeting with your prayer partners to fellowship and pray); you should now be meeting regularly on a weekly basis
