tn new year resolutions wide tFor 2013, how about being intentional about reaching out to those in your circles who are un-churched?  Jonathan Dodson from Outreach magazine shares 8 easy ways that we can be "missional" this year (in Metro terms, they would be 8 ways that we can connect to our community). Can we resolve to do one or two of these each month during 2013?

tn new years eve service wide tOur annual New Year's Eve service (Old Year's service - if you're traditional West Indian) takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 31.  The church will be open from 5:00 p.m. for those who would like to pray and do quiet introspection as they face the beginning of a new year.  The evening's program will feature praise and worship and thanksgiving to God for how He brought us through 2012.  We will also pray that He directs us in the path He wants us to take in 2013.

desire-of-ages2013 is just around the corner.  When did that happen?  Didn't we just start the book of Acts?  Well - we've come to the end.  We've seen Saul stone Stephen, encounter Christ on the road to Damascus and obtain a new identity - Paul, become a powerful orator for Christ, and set his sights determinedly towards Rome, despite beatings, arrests, and shipwrecks.  We've joined a Secret Society; we've discovered a Convenient Season; we've learned what it is to be Duty Bound, and we're working on Be[ing] Ready.  It's been a year of ups and downs, twists and turns, but with God's help, our two pastors have helped navigate us safely almost to the end of 2012.
