tn text updates wide tDid you know that you can get text alerts and messages from Metro?  Yep - you sure can.  For example, a couple of weeks ago when we had some snow on Sabbath morning - we sent out a text letting our members know that we were open for service.  Every week we send out reminders about prayer meeting & Prep School - with links to the study guides.  If there's an emergency we need to let you know about - this will be the quickest way for us to do so.

All you have to do is text metro to 70000.  We don't send spam or jokes - and we send as few messages as possible - so you don't have to wrory that we'll be eating up your monthy text quota (though most cell phone plans now have unlimited texting, so this probably isn't even really an issue).

While you're at it - are you following us on Twitter?  Our handle is @metrosda.  You can also like us on Facebook - www.facebook.com/metrosda.  And of course you get our weekly Email-gram in your email, right?  If you don't, tsk, tsk - sign up here. (Pssst...our newsletter was voted best e-newsletter by the Adventist Society of Communicators).

Finally - you know we have an app for your smart phone, right?  We sure do - you can read your bulletin during church, read the weekly study guides, catch up on Prep School classes, make an appointment to pray with Pastor B.  Check it out - download for iOS or Android.

Metro connects to our church - we're staying sticky - via social media!

Metro Blogger is someone who knows a lot about what's going on at Metro. Is it a man? A woman? A boy? A girl? Is it Pastor B? Is it Dwight Monkou? Is it Gordon Cort? Is it Debbie Cooke? Is it multiple people? Will we ever find out who it is? Do you even care?
