nametagsSabbath, January 12, was "Name Tag" day at Metropolitan.  Pastor Johns came up with the idea that - as part of our "stickiness" journey of 2013 - we should all wear name tags, so that we start becoming more familiar with one another.  The idea was a resounding success.  There were some of you who had to be convinced to wear your tags (Rhoden Rubin, Gregory Applewhite, Sr., Owen Wallace), some of you who told us that your names are not what we thought your names have been for years (Christopher Gill, Gregory Applewhite, Sr.), and some of you who tried to assume false identities (Pamela Rubin, Ursula Roberts-Allen - these two must be sisters!).  But overall, everyone was happy to participate, and at the end of service, which included a "getting to know you" segment at the end of Pastor B's sermon - people were asking when we would do it again.  Have no fear - you've not seen the end of name tags at Metro!  :-)

[We also were taking signups to help with our upcoming 'Feed the Homless' outreach on January 26]

[Sis. Helianthe Monkou quickly agreed to wear her tag, after hostess Tamara Sam explained the project]

[You might not see it clearly here, but Metro Praiz sang with their tags on their robes]

[Cenella Crandon and Vonric Bradford were guinea pigs for Pastor B's demonstration]

[Trisha and Jolene knew each other very well - how'd they hook up? Wasn't it supposed to be strangers?]

[Now - let's see if you were paying attention.  Metro Blogger wasn't inside when these two did their sharing.  If you remember their names, email This email address is being protected from spambots. Metro Blogger is someone who knows a lot about what's going on at Metro. Is it a man? A woman? A boy? A girl? Is it Pastor B? Is it Dwight Monkou? Is it Gordon Cort? Is it Debbie Cooke? Is it multiple people? Will we ever find out who it is? Do you even care?
