metro got talent webMetro!  It's time to strut your stuff.  We know there are many of you who have talents that you're keeping hidden under a bushel.  It's time to bring them to light.  We're inviting you to Metro's Got Talent - a night of family fun that will showcase the talents of the members who sit next to you each Sabbath.  The night will also feature a stiletto heel fashion show - come watch the sisters sashay down the runway in heels higher than six inches.  It promises to be a dizzying experience for all!

The fun takes place at the MAC on Saturday night, May 10 at 7:00 p.m.

Here are the details:

Admission fees:  $15 for adults (16+); $5 for children (5 - 15); $5 for seniors (62+).  Children under age five admitted free.  (This is a fundraiser for our Pathfinders' trip to Osh Kosh - that's why we're charging you to come in!)  Purchase your tickets online, or from any Pathfinder counselor.

Talent show:  Members can choose to compete in one of four categories:  vocal, instrumental, comedy and poetry.  You have to be among the first six people to sign up for each category to be selected to perform - so SIGN UP TODAY! (Note:  you can only sign up for one category).

Your performance must stay within a three- to five-minute timeline.  Contestants going over the five-minute mark will automatically be disqualified.  Your presentation content must conform to Seventh-day Adventist biblical beliefs (think "clean, family fun").  The winner of each category will receive $100!!! (Talent show participants don't pay an admission fee; they will just pay the $20 registration fee)

Stiletto heel fashion show: Any female can participate in the stiletto fashion show.  All you need is a pair of high heeled shoes, and the ability to walk in them without falling.  Sign up here.  Fashion show participants do not have to pay an admission or registration fee.

Questions?  See Angella Browne or any Pathfinder Club counselor.  We hope to see all of you there - either participating or cheering on your family and friends!  One more time:  purchase tickets to the show here.  Sign up for the talent or fashion show here!  Tell two friends about this and encourage them to come on out and have a good time!
